Montegrappa Sophia is a limited edition collection named after the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom. According to the creators, the writing instrument combined two great world civilizations - Greek and Egyptian. The exquisite pen is made of silver and precious resin, decorated with details of 18-karat yellow and pink gold.
The body is decorated with a sample of Coptic writing, as well as a fragment of the famous fresco by Raphael "The School of Athens", which depicts the philosophers Aristotle, Plato and mathematician Pythagoras. The cap is engraved with an image of the famous Rosetta Stone, found in 1799 in Egypt. The text of the stone is a grateful inscription, which in 196 BC. Egyptian priests addressed to the monarch Ptolemy V Epiphanes. The pen has not been used for a long time. The cartridge needs to be replaced, the pen does not write. The original box in which the pen was stored is missing. The original tablet has worn out over time, this can be seen in the photo.
