+ Omas All Vermeil Ballpoint Pen, Gold Plated Over Solid Sterling, Operates

  

Here's a beautiful all vermeil OMAS ballpoint pen... All gold plated over solid sterling silver. This pen was a previously owned.

However, by appearances, it doesn't appear to have been used much. I see no wear to the plating and only a couple of very minor scratches on one of the cap facets. No dents or other flaws or monograms. It is 5-3/8 in length and both the cap and barrel have 12 faceted sides.

The clip is a roller clip. The cap has a triple center cap band with the wider center band decorated in the GREEK KEY pattern.

Above and below are two thinner raised cap bands. On the cap the pen is marked OMAS, ITALY, 925 (in an oval) and another 3 character Italian touch mark (inside a box). The barrel is marked 925 (in an oval), AG, and another touch mark with different characters. The pen operates via cap twist advance/retract. I was advised that refills for this pen are difficult to acquire, but I found, not impossible. No original box or paperwork. A beautiful pen and rarely seen.
