New in original box, never used. Coated in authentic Chinese lacquer with gold trim, complete with numbered certificate 61007Y and guarantee registration card. This and the fountain pen (also on sale) have the following backstory.

In 1985, a small camera crew working for the Australian Broadcasting Company. Were invited aboard the Sultan of Brunei's private plane to film an interview, after which the Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah, gifted each team member with a pair of Dupont pens. Both pens have been kept safely by the cameraman's wife, and were recently gifted to a mutual friend who asked me to sell them to raise funds for an audiobook project, supporting environmental research programmes in the Arctic regions.
